question for using washer sa bearing wheels

do we have a section for how to /instruction, tips? or just post it na lang sa normal topics?

sorry i know it can be googled, baka lang ksi may alam kyo at least madali na lng hanapin and for personal exp -you can share your tips..

here's my question for td wide trucks.

Is it advisable to put washer sa trucks when using bearing wheels (except backless), pagnilagyan ko kasi it will not move.

Based on experience kapag bago pa yung trucks mo wag ka muna mag washers wala naman epekto yun eh pero pag lumuwag na yung axle mo ayun gamitin mo na washers para diretso parin yung andar nya. For backless kahit diretso na wag mo na lagyan in between nag iiba yung ride eh Axle - Wheel - Bearing ganun nalang para sakto fit nung wheels di nag wiwiggle. I personally use washers on my fingerboards lalo na pag luma at maluwag na ang axle, saka pag ubos na bearing wheels ko minsan sa dami nang deck nakakapang hinayang i bearing lahat so i use washers dun sa mga extrang deck ko ayun mas madulas and straight ang ride nya...

May source ba ikaw nang washer dyan? How much ang price curious lang thanks hehe

without washers, the wheel material gets damaged. use washers to lessen the damage done over time. if the wheel can't move, loosen the nut and put super glue (mighty bond) it happens to my wheels too.

i suggest you use a pin and put a tiny amount to cover the nut and the axle.. not too much so that it doesn't spill into the bearing.

Its basically pointless to put washers on backless wheels. They are designed for that purpose, fingerboarding is not rocket science just imagine two contacting metals what's the difference of putting a washer in between its also a metal hahaha tapos pag sumikip luluwagan ang nut then pam pasikip nyo glue haha although it does the job pero di matibay (diba lawi nakita mo kumalas yung bearing ko glinue ni carlo yun). Try teflon tape though di pa madadamage yung groove nang nut you'll also avoid risking the bearing (mapatakan).

Just an opinion though no diss to the others who replied i dont want to debate on this because i dont just ride and play fingerboards i also study them. Imagine pprotektahan mo yung bakal tas tapalan mo nang bakal (washer) para sa bakal parin kumiskis mas prone pa nga sa corrosion yun at accumulation nang dust kasi may umiipit eh. Well there's no right or wrong naman pero i think and i know mas pangit ride pag may washer pa.

Palakihin natin bago ka mag lagay nang gulong nang big bike ano mauuna washer ba? Mula sa swing arm at ehe (bolt) walang washer dun yung gulong may malaking nut (pero di washer) yun ang guide sa ehe habang umiikot, ang washer nasa labas na nang swing arm bago ang adjustment sa chain at nut. Same rules applies sa maliit no, pag nilagyan mo washer yung gitna nang gulong kakayurin yun...

Yes mismo yan yun sir... Diba ang purpose nang glue is para konting ikot lang nung nut hihigpit na diba? Gawin nyo lagyan nyo nang teflon tape yung groove nung axle tamang tama lang dapat para pumasok parin yung wheels tapos ayun lock nyo na mabilis hihigpit yun and good thing about it nagiging self locking ang nut pareho concepto nya sa self locking nut na pang motor or oto habang ginagamit mo lalo hihigpit. Isipin nyo guys sa plumbing eto gamit pang higpit sa gripo na laging dinadaanan nang tubig what more pa sa dry na axle kapit yan...

correct

using teflon tape, no need to sand paper your hanger if you are using bearing wheels. most of the time it won't fit

Nga pala credits goes to kasperation he tried it first on his subs...

enge naman kaming pictures dyan sa actual na ginamit yung teflon. maraming salamat. Although, napipicture namin, pero para sa iba na lang din.
