1st Anti 'Axle-Slip' ytrucks

this set of trucks belongs to jhogiboy. Axle-slip is when one side of the axle gets pushed a lot causing the wheel mounted on that side to get stuck from moving/rolling. This is caused by repeatedly accepting too much impact from bails or table fall-offs. This is typically annoying for single bearing wheel users. But with a little experimentation, I've managed to modify the axle and the hanger to enable a self-centering axle design (similar to brt), making it immune to axle-slip.

alam ko kasi feeling ng may axle slip yung ytrucks mo. major BV talaga. asar ka kasi yung 3k trucks mo may handicap na. kaya sinubukan ko isipan ng solution.

matagal na pong single axle ang ytrucks, ginawang adjustable ang hanger para hindi mag stuck sa isang side.

yes eÄmrj single axled din ang ytrucks tulad ng sabi ni jhogs. yung ytrucks kasi pag ginamitan mo ng single bearing wheels, mas prone ka sa axle-slip dahil mas malaki ang axle space.

hindi na malayo na makapagproduce ka na ng same quality or better trucks sa craftmanship and dedication na binubuhos mo dito. konting research lang sa mga mold ng hanger and baseplate para makapagproduce for mass production. malaking bagay na alam mo na mga common problems regarding the trucks specially on the maintenance issues. i admire your ingenuity. keep it up, man!

Meron na po ako prototype ng trucks. i think gumawa ako early january. kaso stop muna yung project kasi d pa kaya ng budget masunod yung original plan. may access kasi ako sa isang major foundry dito sa pinas, kaya naisip ko na din gawin yun noon pa.
Regarding trucks. kaya din ako bumili ng ytrucks X1, X2, X3 and BRT. para mapag aralan na din or for the purpose of R and D.
My trucks project would have been called 'TINY TITANS'. Kasi ang balak kong gamitin na metal is titanium. kasi light and durable sya. kahit siguro magdamag ka mag grind, hindi nya masyado iindahin, o hindi sya basta basta marereshape. kaso 'major problem'... i've found out na sa japan lang pala nagtutunaw ng titanium alloy. :-)
Next, i came up with a tungsten based alloy. i tried casting it in a mold. ok naman, kaso problem No.2... Para lang syang td na mas maganda yung design and shape. sa durability, lamang lang ng konti sa td dahil sa metal na ginamit. pero hindi pa din up to par sa 2 leading professional brand of trucks when it comes to durability issues. no use na i-mass produce. kasi para ka lang naglabas ng mas mahal at ibang shape na td wides. :-)
So i made further research. ang kelangan ko pala is, pressure injected casting/mold. para mas siksik yung metal pag cool down. ganun ang gamit ng leading and expenssive brands, kaya din sila matibay. kaso the machine for the process costs around $60,000 or more. kasi customized and mass production ready.
medyo di ko kaya yung amount hahaha. :-) kaya stop muna yung trucks project.
I dunno, maybe in the future makaisip ako ibang way. ganun naman kadalasan mga products na ginagawa ko, mostly years back pa sinimulan yung development.
Sana nga sir FLIPino makagawa tayo ng maipagmamalaki nating trucks in the future. yung atleast up to par sa leading brands. thanks again.

seriously. ang aim kasi is tulong tulong tayong mga pinoy fboarders ma-i-angat ang standards ng fingerboarding sa pinas. katulad din ng ginagawa ni bike of dfb and jerico of daliri, jhulz of retaso. hoping someday, sa joint effort nating lahat, magawa din nating mainstream at maging sport ang fingerboarding dito sa pinas, tulad ng sa ibang bansa. "ang sharap kashi!!!"

@straightedge - meron na ako solution sa baling ytrucks pivot. wala pa nga lang ako nagagawa ng actual para mai-post sana yung pic, pero honestly, meron na ako solution para dun bro.
